Experience optical illusions

What are optical illusions? The Online Dictionary of Psychology & Education defines optical illusions as "an irritation of the perception of the sense of sight and can affect almost all aspects of vision." (Stangl, 2024)

In the Museum of Illusions, it quickly becomes clear that you can't rely on your own eyes! Between amazing images, crazy installations and reversed rooms, your own perception will be put to the test. Together you can ask yourselves again and again: What is real? What you see or what you think you see?

Taking off expressly permitted

In our various illusion rooms, parents and children become part of the illusion. Let yourselves hang from the ceiling like bats or put your balance to the test in our vortex tunnel. In our Ames room, the little ones suddenly become really big and just round the corner, children can serve their parents on a silver platter. Click - take a photo and you'll have a memory that's guaranteed to make you laugh on the way home. The Museum of Illusions is great fun for families with children in Hamburg.
